If you responded in the affirmative, you’re in luck. We’re giving away two tickets to Laughing Cows, an amazing comedy night that trumpets female comedians. They’re a pretty great bunch – earlier they organised an event that raised £7,000 for charidee and featured ladies such as Jo Brand and Lucy Porter.
Taking place on December 2nd, Laughing Cows will be headlined by Jade the Folk Singer (winner of the Funny Women Award). When I last saw in in 2008, her lesbian crooner character sang about her boyfriend having sex with her mum, and then called said mum a “big fat whale”. Yep.
Other acts joining Jade include Meryl O’Rourke who was nominated for a prestigious Sony Radio Academy Award in 2003, Sam Savage, Lindsay Sharman and Marian Pashley who will be compering the night.
Laughing Cows takes place on Thursday 2nd December at Coach & Horses, 1 Great Marlborough Street, London, W1F 7HH at 7.30 pm. Tickets are £8 (£6 conc.) and can be reserved by emailing london@laughingcowscomedy.co.uk or calling 07838 585670.
