Music, womenfolk, and summertime. The Mother Festival is all about perfect trinities.

A D.I.Y. project dedicated to art and music of the female variety, this venture is framed around a three year structure: having already spent the first section of its trimester in Tel Aviv last year, year two now sees TMF coming to London circa the eastern section of the city. Oh, and over three days. Gad, I picked the obvious angle for this petit blogpost eh?

Anyway… We recommend you peruse the bands on offer here, listen to this mixtape featuring bands from the festival, and visit the event site here.

The Most Cake will be popping down to cover parts of the fest so err yeah, if you don’t go you could look at what happened via a plastic screen. But it’s probably a better use of your time to see the thing in person.

Mother Festival will take place from Friday 20th – Sunday 22nd May
