This song and video kind of missed me when it was released way back when in 2008. But listen, T.I. is a genius, and anyone who covers him has to be either totally insane or totally genius. I’d put this song, and its video, firmly in the latter category.

Also – it’s a real stark change from the original to have a pretty white girl singing the lyrics to this, given that they are, undeniably, kind of filthy. In a good way. Really brings to mind some old Liz Phair stuff, no?
