Also they didn't sail in the Mayflower to Massachusetts (instead the Massachusetts colonists had a tendency to hang Quakers when they showed up). In addition they don't have ministers who marry people; the couple marries each other with no minister. They do have a person who registers the marriage on behalf of the state.
