Cake snaps at Fear of Missing Out, Friday 3rd August

by Lemon Tart

FOMO is a shiny new night at the Moustache Bar in Dalston. It sounds like it was pretty great, so we thought we’d show you some pictures of it.

Here are some other new things that have happened recently:

GOOD NEW THING – The Olympics. It’s actually been quite good really, despite spawning more generic tweets and statuses than anything ever. HASHTAG OLYMPICS AH IT’S SO HASHTAG UPLIFTING! – calm down.

BAD NEW THING – Fifty Shades of Grey became the best selling book of all time. Fifty Shades of Gay has already been written, and sounds much better: “Follow Jude, his beautiful Latina maid Rosie and his flamboyant friend James from Manhattan to Chicago where they wield their inept sleuthing skills, penchant for partying and naked blackmail to clear Jude’s name.” SOLD.

GOOD NEW THING – Kan/Kim did something actually a little bit funny, which everyone previously thought was impossible.

BAD NEW THING – The Darkness reappeared and covered a Radiohead song, which made people want to eat their own faces.

Anyway, FOMO definitely sounded like a GOOD NEW THING. The music – 90s/ Garage/ House came via DJs Cl4ws, Michelle Manetti, Sarah Ferrari, Shang and Young Favourite; and going on these snaps it was pretty FUN.
