Cake snaps at Koochooloo, November 28th

As R Kelly once said, “there ain’t nothing wrong with a little tinsel”. (Or was it bump n’ grind?. Never mind. His lyrics are so full of wisdom they can be appropriated for almost any occasion, no?).

Anyway, Koochooloo came over all Christmassy this month and made sure the hallowed halls of Barden’s Boudoir were strewn with acres of gold tinsel (ok slight exaggeration but it was pretty pretty).

This was Koochooloo’s second outing, and congrats were in order for providing us with some sure fire ear-pleasing experiences, courtesy of Disco Damage, Dancing Robot Music, Sasha, Vinyl Black Stilettos, DJ Vian and Faulein Coco. I would like to see someone play the bar’s piano too next time, but all in good time.

In brief: pour yourself a brandy, put on S Club 7′s Perfect Christmas (or Backstreet Boys’ Christmas Time – both equally superb) and have a rummage through our pics of the night. Lovely.
