Cake snaps at Other People’s Property, November 28th

November’s Other People’s Property was ace. Reason number 1: they played an ENYA REMIX.

Reason number 2: there was a girl wearing a Halloween mask for no particular reason.

Reason number 3: there was an Enya remix.

Reason number 4: everyone was jumping around like battery chickens who’ve discovered there’s an open door in their barn.

Do you need more reasons? Well, I’m pretty sure I saw Mattel’s CEO walk in, scream at the night’s organisers, and tear down every punked-up-Barbie poster in the place. They had a few half pints of cider and calmed down a bit though, so don’t panic.*

But aside from that, the music was excellent: DJs Pet Middler, Lads on Tour ad Bonnersmothfuckingdropdown made sure everyone’s smiles remained pretty much permanent.

Oh, and there was an Enya remix – I think I forgot to mention that? Other People’s Property: we salute you.
