Cake Snaps at Slammer Bar, October 1st

October 7, 2010 SCENE No Comments

by Ground Almond

Slammer Bar is a recently-opened bar in Deptford from the creator of Queen Bees – Stav B. Situated in an old police station with cells as toilets, Slammer Bar is open every 1st and 4th Friday of the month. The idea behind it is that of a speakeasy, prohibition style bar – where ideas spark, projects materialise and exquisite liquid is consumed. Music was in the form of vinyl by Doug Haywood, playing a super nice mix of Bollywood meets funk meets 80s folk. Definitely worth a visit!
