Cake snaps at Slammer Bar, October 29th
Calling all art fags, cocktail lovers and vinyl enthusiasts – slammer bar wants you to enjoy a tasty beverage, art exhibitions and fresh treats tepenade from the kitchen of Stav Bee at her new bar in New Cross. Don’t be put off by getting there: it’s a stones throw from the East London Line so you won’t get your Shoreditch kicks grubby.
Doug Hayward is one of my favourite vinyl DJs at the moment – and his killer Bollywood-meets-80s folk set soothed you into your cell (see pics below).
Slammer Bar is at the Old Police Station in Deptford every 1st and 4th friday monthly from 6pm till 11pm. For more info, check out the facebook group.
